周子刚，出生辽宁，从5岁就酷爱书画艺术，笔名周易。现任毛泽东新闻研究院副院长、中共中央党校出版社高级艺术顾问、海峡两岸关系协会北京分会理事、北京邮电大学数字媒体与艺术设计学院客座教授、北京大学国家经济发展研究院朗润艺苑高级艺术顾问、中华环境保护基金会高级艺术形象大使、联合国孝道委员会艺术顾问、全球华人华商联合总会文化艺术委员会执行副主席、中华名人书画院院长、中国中央名人书画院院长、、国家一级美术师、国家一级书法师，获国家人事部“杰出艺术人才”等称号。周子刚的书画作品，被党和国家领导人、中南海、人民大会堂、全国人大会议中心、国家外交部、教育部、人事部等单位收藏。子刚的书画作品意境深远，被美国、英国、日本、韩国等国家政要喜欢收藏。2004年在北京民族文化宫举办的《中、日、韩国际亚细亚画展》中，周子刚先生荣获书画大奖赛书法一等奖、绘画一等奖。2005年在北京军事博物馆举办的《中央电视台书画展》，周子刚先生应邀参展。2019年在国家广播电视总局举办的《庆祝中华人民共和国成立七十周年职工书画作品展》上，周子刚先生的《大吉大利》绘画艺术作品，受到了很多书画爱好者的一致好评。曾先后多次向中国残联、中国红十字基金会、中国妇联、中国环境保护基金会、北京市自忠小学、北京市朝阳区呼家楼小学等单位捐赠书画艺术作品。

Zhou Zigang, courtesy name Zhou Yi, was born in Liaoning Province. He developed a profound passion for painting and calligraphy at the age of five.He currently holds multiple prominent appointments: Vice President of Mao Zedong Journalism Research Institute, Senior Art Consultant of the Party School of the Central Committee of C.P.C Press, Director of the Beijing Branch of the Association for Relations Across the Taiwan Straits (ARATS), Visiting Professor at the School of Digital Media & Design, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Senior Art Consultant of Langrun Art Gallery, National School of Development, Peking University, Senior Art Ambassador of China Environmental Protection Foundation, Art Advisor of the United Nations Filial Piety Committee, Executive Vice Chairman of the Culture & Art Committee, Global Chinese Entrepreneurs Federation, Dean of China Celebrity Calligraphy & Painting Academy and Central China Celebrity Painting & Calligraphy Academy. Professionally certified as National First-Class Fine Artist and National First-Class Calligrapher, he was awarded the honorary title of Outstanding Art Talent by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of China.

His artworks are collected by state leaders of China, Zhongnanhai, the Great Hall of the People, the NPC Conference Center, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and other state institutions. Boasting profound artistic conception, his paintings and calligraphies are also collected by state dignitaries from the United States, Britain, Japan, South Korea and other countries.In 2004, at the China-Japan-South Korea International Asian Fine Arts Exhibition hosted at the Cultural Palace for Nationalities, Beijing, Mr. Zhou Zigang won the First Prize in both Calligraphy and Painting of the grand art competition. In 2005, he was invited to exhibit works at the China Central Television Fine Arts Exhibition held at the Military Museum of the Chinese People’s Revolution. At the Staff Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition marking the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China hosted by the National Radio and Television Administration in 2019, his artwork Great Fortune and Prosperity earned wide critical acclaim from numerous art enthusiasts.

Over the years, he has donated dozens of calligraphy and painting works to public welfare organizations including China Disabled Persons’ Federation, China Red Cross Foundation, All-China Women’s Federation, China Environmental Protection Foundation, Beijing Zizhong Primary School and Beijing Hujialou Primary School in Chaoyang District.
